Former Walt Disney Travel Co. cast member and Disneyland Park cast member Ryan adds a great depth of knowledge about what the average person is looking for when plannnig their trip to the Resort.

A fan of all things Disney since before he could pronounce the name, Ryan has been fortunate to be a Disneyland Local all of his life. Southern California native, originally from Upland (a trip to Disneyland was a 30 minute drive) seeing the park change, grow and expand has been a thrill for him as he awaits the upcoming expansion to Disney’s California Adventure. Being so close to the original “Magic Kingdom†also allowed Ryan to work for the mouse for a while.

He worked in Fantasyland in 2003 on the “Routes” which encompassed: Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Pinocchio, Casey Jr., King Arthur’s Carousel, Dumbo, The Mad Tea Party, Alice in Wonderland, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride and the ever popular Peter Pan’s Flight. Later, in 2007 Ryan picked up some summer hours working at Splash Mountain in Critter Country, be sure to ask him about “The Adventures at C-Lift” and “The Submerged Log”.

Â
It was in 2006 that Ryan picked up a part-time job as a Reservations Sales Agent for the Walt Disney Travel Company. It was in this role that he realized his passion for travel, extending his knowledge about the Disney Parks and Travel tips and tricks. He graduated from the College of Disney Knowledge and became certified with the Marriott Hotels through their Travel Agent course. He’s learned a great deal about not only the resort itself, but also the Good Neighbor Hotels and how to determine the best move when planning your Disney adventure to maximize your time and keep it all within the budget.
