Greg

Greg McNaughten is The Travelears Disneyland correspondent. Greg has been traveling to Disneyland since the late 60’s and has seen many changes over the years. He even attended High School directly across the street from Disneyland, which he describes as cruel and unusual punishment because he could hear the whistles of the trains and well as the Mark Twain during the school day making it hard to study.

Greg worked as a Security Castmember at Disneyland for nearly ten years and has a unique insight to the operation of the park. He can describe both on stage and off stage areas as no one else can because he experienced it first hand. Greg also worked for the competition, Knott’s Berry Farm, right after High School for fours years before serving in the United States Air Force. He has been an Annual Passholder at Universal Studios Hollywood even before they added Hollywood to the park name. We do not want to say Greg is old, but he has a few seasoned years behind him.
Growing up in Southern California, Greg can offer advice on all the great things to see around Disneyland and beyond.  Day trips to Hollywood or San Diego, he’s done it all. Southern California is one of the few places in the world were you can snow ski, go for a dip in the ocean and explore the desert all in the same day.

After visiting Walt Disney World for the first time in 1971 and then again in 1982 and 1986, Greg missed Walt Disney World and was unable to visit again until 2005. Greg is still playing catch up with all the additions and changes and is enjoying each visit as if it’s his last. Greg is sure of offer a few opinions on Walt Disney World as well as Disneyland.
