This episode we answer listener Christi’s email question and talk about what to do on a night Disneyland closes early.
Tuesday the 21st is ROUGH! All events, even Downtown Disney, don’t start until Wednesday the 22nd.
Check out how dead the park events are: http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/calendar/daily/daily?name=CalendarDailyPage&date=20081021

Approx. 15 restaurants and eateries including P.F. Chang’s, Bubba Gump’s Shrimp Co. and the Cheesecake Factory
300 Anaheim Bowling and Entertainment Center (with dining options) - http://www.3hundred.com
The Movie Experience 14 including IMAX a.k.a CinemaFusion - seriously… just look at the site. Movie + Alcohol? Mmmhmm http://cinemafusionanaheim.com/
Then of course, there’s always just a classic DTD night with some dining and a movie ![]()
Just as extra options for that questions: Main street in Huntington Beach is cool because you have access to the pier, bonfire pits, a bunch of restaurants and a movie theater http://www.stockteam.com/hbpier.html. It probably takes about 20-30 minutes to get there from the local Anaheim area (we could post a Mapquest map on the Wiki to illustrate it). I love the Queen Mary but the freeway travel can be REALLY crappy during the week. Not only that but there are no events at the Queen Mary on Tuesday either… the Paranormal Shipwalk and Investigation Tours only run Thursday, Friday and Sunday nights. Great as an option most nights though
So a list of options pertaining to activities outside of the park in the local area:
