We’ll find out after this season. Disney officials confirm to The New York Post that the upcoming fourth season will be the last for the show that made Miley Cyrus into a superstar. And put her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, back on the map.
“You never know in this business . . . but right now we’re scheduled to wrap [forever] after shooting this new batch of episodes,” Disney Channel Worldwide’s Adam Bonnett, senior VP/programming, told the Post.
Production on the fourth season is set to begin Jan. 18, with guest-star Ray Liotta in the season opener, and end sometime this summer. The season will premiere in late spring, but Disney will roll out new episodes for at least a full year.
