While focused on Disney's California Adventure, it still allows a great opportunity for kids to get up close and see a great show with an unrestricted view! Preferred Seating at 3 shows in Disney's California Adventure are: --Jim Henson's Muppet Vision 3D -- It's Tough to Be a Bug! -- Hyperion Theatre Warning: Be aware of the 3D shows with smaller children as the effects may be slightly too intense for them. Definitely take advantage of the Hyperion Theatre though and see Aladdin because kids of all ages can appreciate it! Really great show guys!! Two different points of view - Infants and Younger to Pre-teen kids and great tips offered on both sides. It was nice to hear Ray on again!! :) Mrs. H,

For interactive shows like Turtle Talk there is a floor area for kids to sit that want to sit up close. Generally, the seating for any show is good for all kids and adults though sometimes you have to be careful if you have a small child and a "big" person sits in front of them but usually that just means you change seats with your child. Your point about the fireworks is a good one...thank you. I’m not aware of special seating for kids. Maybe it's only at Tokyo Disney Resort then, there is also special seating for children at most shows which is good to know about. When we used to bring our son to WDW as an infant I think what he enjoyed most were atmosphere things like the big fountain at EPCOT and watching the ducks ha ha. I don't think you mentioned this in the podcast but some children are really sensitive to the fireworks so if they are watching it for the first time it may be a good idea to watch from a distance especially for Illuminations which has some really loud moments which can startle some children.
