Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studio Park are the biggest tourist attractions in Europe, drawing 15.3 million visitors in 2008.  Popular rides as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Space Mountain Mission 2 and Pirates of the Caribbean, some of which are more modern than the versions at the American Disney parks. There are seven hotels to stay at, including Disney’s New York and Cheyenne hotels.  The resort also includes the Disney Village shopping and entertainment center, and an 18-hole golf course.

Why not reward the kids with a couple of days at Disneyland Paris?  It just might be a much-appreciated reward for the little ones being dragged through European museums and historical sites. Some Americans even prefer them over the parks in Florida and California because of its relative newness.

The pair of Disney parks are in Marne-la-Vallée just east of Paris, linked by the RER suburban train.  Look for low-season rates mid-April to mid-July, mid-September to early December, and mid-January to late March.
